Milton Trout FC 2 - Cheers 1

After going down a goal in the first 20 minutes against Cheers, the Trout were able to bring the game to level terms when Chris Boswall got onto a loose ball and scored. The game went into the second half at 1’s with the Trout building momentum midway through the second half Jonathan O’Keefe latched onto a ball just outside the 18 yard box and blasted it past the Cheers keeper into the net. Trout Win!

On Tuesday night your Milton Trout took the field against Nova Scotia Super Eastlink Premiership leading side VU Avondale, the Trout won this game 3 - 0. This has propelled the Trout to the top of the PEISML Standings.

Milton Trout FC 2 - Boston Pizza 1

Milton Trout FC are 1 point out of first place after taking all three points from league leaders Boston Pizza. Jonathan O’Keefe scored early in the first half after latching onto a Joey Seaman cross. Boston Pizza quickly replied through a Norton goal. In the second half the Trout were awarded a PK when Adam Coady was brought down in the box, Coady cooley stepped up and slotted home the winning goal.

Milton Trout FC 2 - Fortius 1

In tonight’s game the Trout fell behind early with Fortius scoring in the first 15 minutes of the game. The Trout regrouped after the early goal and were able to keep Fortius to minimal chances within the first half. The second half didn’t produce many chance until a free kick for the Trout 20 minutes from time. Jeff MacLean missed the net on the free kick, but the ref wasn’t ready so MacLean had a second chance which was hit low into the back of the net. 10 minutes from time Darcy Murnaghan hit a left footed slow motion dribbler that somehow got through the Fortius keepers legs giving the Trout the win.

Milton Trout FC 1 - Gahan House Growlers 2

Gahan House Growlers ended the Trout’s 4 game winning streak. Joey Seaman opened the scoring in the first minutes beating Gahan House keeper off the opening kick off. The Trout were able to hold on to the 1 - 0 lead until half. The game was leveled 15 minutes into the second half through a Gahan House PK, and than Gahan House scored another mid way through the 2nd half to take a 2 -1 lead. The Trout were able to mount pressure on Gahan House throughout the second half but couldn’t find the back of the net.

Milton Trout FC 2 - Churchill Arms 1

In weekend action, the Milton Trout FC took all three points from division leaders Churchill Arms. After missing a few early chances the Trout were able to take the lead from a Jason Malone corner that found Jeff Maclean at the back post, Jeff made no mistake with a scissor kick which found net. Churchill tied the game minutes after the break, the score stayed that way until 20 minutes from time on another corner which Jon O’keefe drove past the Churchill keep giving the Trout the win.

Milton Trout FC 3 - Heritage Pub 1

The Trout continued their winning streak last night beating Heritage Pub 3 - 1. The Trout fell behind 20 minutes into the first half when the Summerside based club took an early lead. It appeared that the Trout would go into the break down one, but a late corner kick found Baron Delaney’s head and the Trout Leveled the game. The game stayed at 1’s until 15 minutes from time when Jeff MacLean went for goal from a free kick near half catching the Heritage keeper off his line giving the Trout their first lead of the game. Chris Boswall added a third to finish off the game.
